  9.              touch - set file creation date

  12.              touch [ -c ] [ -f ] file ...
  13.  
  14.         DESCRIPTION
  15.              _✓T_✓o_✓u_✓c_✓h resets the creation date of the file  to  the  current
  16.              date  and  time.  If  the  file  does  not exist the file is
  17.              created. If the file is readonly no update of the  time  and
  18.              date takes place.
  19.  
  20.         OPTIONS
  21.              -c   no attempt to create the file is attempted if the  file
  22.                   does not exist.
  23.  
  24.              -f   the date and time  will  be  updated  if  the  file  is
  25.                   readonly.
